Your Family Will Love This Penne with Gorgonzola Recipe

Penne is one of the most popular pastas in the world. It's easy to find on store shelves, along with other popular pasta types like spaghetti and elbow. Having ordinary penne is great and all, but it can certainly get boring after a while.

Many cooks change things up by throwing it into a ziti recipe, but even that can get tiresome after some time. That's why recipes like this one here are a true blessing. This recipe for penne with gorgonzola is very simple, so you'll be able to change up the dinner menu without too much effort.

When it comes to cheeses used for pasta, Romano and Parmesan reign supreme. They blend so well with practically every type of pasta, and are easy to use in sauces as well. We think gorgonzola deserves more time in the spotlight, however.

Along with the cheese and the penne, you'll also need heavy whipping cream, ground pepper, and a little Parmesan. You didn't think we were going to leave the Parmesan out entirely, did you? We suggest freshly grated Parmesan, but do whatever you can.
