You will love making these won tons because they are so versatile. You can use any leftovers you have to make them, and you don’t have to follow this recipe to a T. If you have other leftovers that you think would taste good inside a won ton, feel free to add them. You can even swap out some ingredients for others or add other things you have in your refrigerator to make the recipe even better.

What Food Should Be Served Alongside Won Tons

When you think of won tons, you may think of Asian food. The crispy little bites are great when paired with Asian dishes such as lo mein noodles, sweet and sour chicken, and Mongolian beef. You can also serve them as an appetizer before a meal. Ingredients

Scale
  • 1½ cups cooked turkey breast meat, shredded
  • ⅔ cup dried cranberries
  • ⅓ cup slivered almonds
  • ½ cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 (14 ounce) package wonton wrappers
  • 1 quart vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix the turkey, cranberries, almonds, and cranberry sauce in a bowl.
  2. Place about 1 teaspoon of the mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
  3. Fold wrappers over filling, moisten edges, and press with a fork to seal.
  4. Heat the oil in large skillet or deep fryer.
  5. Fry the wontons in the hot oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
