Side Ideas for Crock Pot Chicken Soup

If chicken soup alone isn't enough to fill you, then here are some ideas for sides to eat along with it:

  • Bread. Bread is a classic to have with soup. It's simple and tasty. Consider making your own if you have the time and ingredients, otherwise grab a loaf of French or Italian bread from the store.
  • Crackers and cheese. Another simple side, this is about as easy to throw together as it can get. Buy some pre-sliced cheese from the store and your favorite crackers.
  • Corn muffins. Corn muffins have been a popular pairing with soup for many years. You can buy corn muffin mix from the store, or you can make your own from scratch.
  • Garlic bread. A favorite of many, garlic bread is a great option to serve with chicken soup. Buy it frozen or fresh from the store, or make it yourself.
  • Salad. Salad is often served with soup at restaurants, so why not serve it at home? There are so many options for ingredients to throw in your salad. Keep it simple, or try something new and different.
  • Grilled peppers. If you want something a little different to go with your soup, try grilled peppers! They'll add a nice kick to your soup, are easy to make, and are healthy!
  • Brussel sprouts. These might not be very popular with the kids, but they're sure to provide your chicken soup with an extra healthy boost. Try throwing them in the air fryer for added crunch.
