Hummus Dip Recipe
Yield: 1 ½ cups
Exchanges per tablespoon: Free
1 15 ounce can garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained
1 green onion, cut into ½ inch pieces
2 tablespoons plain nonfat yogurt
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 small clove garlic
1. Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add all ingredients, and process until bean mixture is smooth.
2. Transfer mixture to a small serving bowl. Cover and chill thoroughly.
3. Serve with assorted fresh vegetables like carrots, celery, snow peas, broccoli flowerets, and radishes (vegetables not included in analysis).
