1/3 to 1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup Asiago cheese, grated
2 Tablespoons Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated
Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

1. Put the garlic and olive oil in a heavy saucepan over lowest possible heat and simmer until soft; 30 to 40 minutes.

6. Stir into potatoes.

7. Stir in cheeses and season with salt and pepper.

8. Spoon into a gratin dish.

9. Place in a 400 degrees F oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until browned and bubbling.

How to Deal With Garlic Breath

Nobody wants garlic breath! If you want to get rid of garlic breath, no matter how bad, the first step is to use mouthwash or to brush your teeth. This will help mask the scent of garlic, while cleaning out any residual garlic in your mouth. If you don't have the ability to brush your teeth or use mouthwash, chew some gum or eat a mint.

Cleaning your tongue can also help improve garlic breath. If you eat garlicky foods a lot, it might be worth investing in an actual tongue cleaner. Otherwise, use your toothbrush and some toothpaste. Drinking green tea has also been known to help alleviate this annoying after-effect of eating garlic.

If nothing that we've suggested is available to you, sometimes just drinking extra water or rinsing your mouth with water can help. Either action will help free trapped garlic, hopefully lessening the problem. If all else fails, just keep your distance from others for a while!
