This Double Chocolate Fudge Recipe is Sure to Be a Favorite

Do you know what’s better than a delicious chocolate recipe? A double chocolate recipe! Yes, that’s right, we’ve taken our favorite chocolate fudge recipe and made it even chocolatier! And one of the best parts is that it doesn’t require many ingredients. It’s rich, decadent, and will surely be a crowd-pleaser at your next function. To top it off, it’s incredibly easy to make, as with the majority of our fudge recipes. But why take our word for it? Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (11 1/2 oz) package milk chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:

1. In a saucepan, melt semi-sweet chocolate chips over low heat with 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk, 1 tablespoon cream, and 1 tsp vanilla.

2. Remove from heat; stir in 1/2 cup walnuts. Spread evenly into a foil-lined 9-inch square pan.

3. In another saucepan, over low heat, melt milk chocolate chips with remaining sweetened condensed milk, 1 tablespoon of cream, and 1 tsp vanilla. Remove from heat; stir in remaining walnuts.

4. Spread over fudge in a pan. Chill for 2 hours or until firm. Turn the fudge onto the cutting board; peel off the foil and cut into squares. Store loosely covered at room temperature. Makes about 2 1/2 pounds.
