This casserole will take about 55-60 minutes to bake. During that time, prepare the side dish for this meal or take a moment to relax. One of the great things about recipes that take a while to cook on their own is that it frees you up to do other things. You don't need to stand and watch this one cook like you would if it was a meal on the stove.

Kids usually love tater tots, so this recipe should be popular with them. The addition of French-fried onions will also be popular. We've selected ingredients like lean ground beef, extra-lean ground turkey, and reduced-fat, reduced-sodium soups to help make this recipe healthier.

For a side, serve mixed vegetables to help keep this recipe healthy. Mixed vegetables provide a wide variety of ingredients, helping to ensure your family gets what they need in a given day. When combined with this casserole, you'll have a great meal to feed your family on any day of the week!
