How to Make This Healthy Lemon Vegetable Recipe

When we think of summertime fruits, lemons are at the top of that list. Yes, it's used year-round in various dishes and beverages — as well as a perfect all-natural cleaning ingredient. But when it's hot outside, what's better than an ice-cold frosted lemonade? It's one of the most versatile fruit and takes any dish from bland to grand! With that said, you must try this delicious, healthy lemon vegetable recipe. It's a simple dish made better by lemons.

Ingredients:

  • ½ head small cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 cups broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped

Directions:

1. Steam broccoli and cauliflower until tender (about 10 minutes).

2. In a small saucepan, mix the lemon juice, oil, and garlic, and cook over low heat for 2 or 3 minutes.

3. Put vegetables in the serving dish. Pour lemon sauce over them. Garnish with parsley.
