Try This Fun and Easy Wind Sock Craft

Try This Fun and Easy Wind Sock Craft

Wind socks are easy and fun to make. This craft is great to do with kids, especially if they're old enough to handle scissors on their own. Wind socks can make for a great opportunity to teach your kids about wind and why it's important. Make learning fun!

All you need for this craft are three things: scissors, embroidery hoops, and ribbon. You definitely have scissors on hand already. The final two supplies should be easy to find at your local craft store. Pick ribbons of different colors and patterns to introduce some diversity into your wind socks!

If you end up needing glue for this craft, we recommend using hot glue. Make sure to keep hot glue away from younger children, as they're likely going to burn themselves on it. Older children should still be supervised when using hot glue. If you don't have a hot glue gun or you want your children to be able to do their own gluing, regular glue will work fine.

We have lots of other crafts for you to check out, so be sure to take a look at them before you go! Some of our crafts are holiday-themed or seasonal, while others can be made at any time of the year. Having some craft ideas on hand to do on a cold, blustery day is always a great idea!
