You’ll Love This Thyme Chicken Breasts Recipe

Thyme is a great, but sometimes underappreciated, seasoning. When added in the right way, it can bring an otherwise boring dish to life. Chicken is sometimes criticized for being bland. It is true that chicken has a neutral taste, but a good chicken dish should never be bland.

With the right type and amount of seasoning, any chicken dish can taste amazing. This particular recipe keeps it simple, using thyme for the majority of its taste. Salt and pepper are added for a little additional flavor, along with sliced mushrooms for more texture. With this recipe, you'll see why you don't need ten different seasonings to make chicken taste good!

Chicken is a wonderful addition to your regular diet. Any meat is high in protein, but some meats, like beef, are high in calories and fat. Chicken is a good choice because it doesn't have a lot of calories or a lot of fat. This is mainly why it's seen as a fantastic choice for those on a weight loss journey.

Serve this recipe with some rice for a very easy dinner, or try some buttered noodles or veggies. If you're going the vegetable route, choose a bag of frozen mixed veggies to make it extra easy on yourself. The whole goal of this recipe is to be quick, so don't overcomplicate it with the wrong sides!
