Tasty and Easy Classic Crock Pot Recipes with Beef

Crock Pot Smothered Steak

Ingredients:

  • 1 and 1/2 pound round steak, cut in strips
  • 1/4 teaspoons of pepper
  • 1 green pepper, sliced
  • 1 can of tomatoes, 1 pound
  • 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 4 ounces of canned mushrooms, drained
  • 10 ounces of frozen green beans, French style

Directions:

1. Put steak strips, flour, salt and pepper in crock pot. Stir well to coat steak.

2. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook on low 8 hours (high for 4 hours).

3. Serve with rice.

Crock Pot No Peeking Stew

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds chuck or stew meat, cubed
  • 1 cups potatoes, cubed
  • 2 cups carrots, sliced
  • 2 cups celery, chopped
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 cup frozen green beans, peas, and corn (each)
  • 1 can of Campbell's tomato soup
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoons of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of pasley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon of Lawry's seasoned salt

Directions:

1. Mix all ingredients together in crockpot.

2. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours.

Crock Pot Beef Enchiladas

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound shredded beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 small can of chilis
  • 1 can of mild enchilada sauce
  • 1 can mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 can cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
  • 1 large package of Doritos chips

Directions:

1. Cook and shred beef, chop onion, and pour off grease.

2. Put all ingredients in Crock Pot, except Doritos chips. Mix and cook low 4 to 6 hours.

3. 15 minutes before serving, add Dorito chips and stir.

Crock Pot Roast

Ingredients:

  • 3 – 4 pound boneless pot roast
  • 1 cup of Diet 7-Up
  • Celery Salt
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 garlic sections, chopped or sliced

Directions:

1. Wash roast and pat dry with paper towels, place in crock pot, pierce top of roast with fork and sprinkle top with celery salt.

2. Add bay leaves and garlic, pour diet 7-Up over all and set crock pot on high for 4 hours, then low 2 hours or put on low for 8 hours.

3. Remove roast to platter to cool. Discard liquid. Serve with your favorite vegetables, rolls and salad.

Crock Pot Chinese Beef and Pea Pods

Ingredients:

  • 1 and 1/2 pound family steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 can beef soup
  • 1/4 cups soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoons of ground ginger
  • 1 bunch green onions
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 small can of bamboo shoots, drained
  • 1 small can of bean sprouts, drained
  • 7 ounces of frozen Chinese pea pods, partially thawed

Directions:

1. Combine steak in Crock Pot with beef soup, soy sauce, ginger, and onion.

2. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 7 hours.

3. Turn control to high. Stir in cornstarch that has been dissolved in the 2 tablespoons cold water.

4. Cook on high for 15 minutes or until thickened.

5. During last 5 minutes of cooking, add water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts and pea pods. Serve over hot rice.
