What Can You Have with This Breakfast Recipe?

If this breakfast isn't enough for you on its own, try one of the following items along with it:

  • Juice. Sometimes, a glass of juice is all you need to have a complete breakfast. Juices are very healthy, especially if you pick ones that don't have a lot of added sugar. Orange, apple, and cranberry are great options.
  • Toast. Some butter and toast never misses. If you want a healthier option that doesn't pack on quite as many carbs, try whole wheat or rye.
  • Bagel and cream cheese. If fat and calories aren't as much of a concern, then go for a bagel and cream cheese! This is a filling side dish that will surely leave you satisfied.
  • Eggs. Scramble some eggs to add extra protein to your breakfast. Throw some cheese in for added flavor!
  • Fruit. Starting your day with some fruit is sure to leave you feeling on top. Make a fruit salad, or grab your favorite fruit or two to pair with this breakfast crock pot recipe. Apples and bananas are great options, or pick whatever's in season in your area.
  • Oatmeal. While not everyone loves oatmeal, it's a great option. It's packed with fiber. Throw some brown sugar, apples, or cinnamon in with your oatmeal to add extra flavor. Or, buy flavored oatmeal from the store. Drizzling honey on top can also be a great way to sweeten up your oatmeal.
  • Hot chocolate. If it's the season for it, pouring yourself a cup of hot chocolate can really add to the comfort level of your breakfast. Top with whipped cream and marshmallows to make it complete.
