You Need to Try This Vegetarian Sweet Potato Chili Recipe

Chili is a fantastic meal, but it often includes meat. That's perfectly fine for most out there, but for anyone who is a vegetarian it's a no-go. That means most chili recipes are not suitable for vegetarians, unless you make heavy alterations to them. Doing that isn't advisable, however, as it completely changes the flavor profile of a given chili.

That's why recipes like this one are so helpful. If you're going to be feeding chili to a vegetarian, this recipe is the way to go. It's still incredibly flavorful, so you don't need to worry about anyone being disappointed in the taste. Since we're using sweet potatoes, it's also packed with nutrition.

This recipe will cook in the crockpot for ten hours. Over the course of that time, your home will slowly fill with the delicious smells of cooking chili. You'll be so excited to eat it when it's done, you might not even remember that it doesn't have meat in it!

This recipe is also great for anyone looking to cut down on the calories they consume every day. Meat is great, but certain types of meat come with a lot of calories. By making this vegetarian chili, you'll have a healthier alternative to many meat chilis out there.
