Try This Great Baked Beans Recipe For Your Next Picnic

Everyone loves a good helping of baked beans. While the stuff in the can is great, sometimes you need a great recipe from scratch. This baked beans recipe is designed to be both easy and delicious. Baked beans shouldn't require more effort than the main dish you'll be serving!

Once you see how easy it is to make your own baked beans, you might never go back to the canned variety! These baked beans are great for a summer picnic, or just a family dinner. Flexible meals that can be served at a variety of functions are always great. You can even double this recipe and bring it to a potluck!

These baked beans get their flavor primarily from ketchup, honey, brown sugar, and hot sauce. The use of hot sauce might raise some eyebrows, but don't worry. We use a negligible amount of hot sauce in this recipe, just to add a dash of extra flavor. Your mouth won't burn with this!

Serve these baked beans with classic summer dishes like burgers and hot dogs. Or, serve it as part of a big backyard barbecue. Nothing says summer quite like pulled pork and baked beans! If you end up with leftovers, you can serve them for a quick and easy lunch.
