Taco seasoning mix is usually used for tacos or burritos, and understandably so. This particular blend of seasonings was designed for this exact purpose. But just as ranch seasoning mix has been repurposed to fit many different recipes, taco seasoning mix can be used in other ways.

Along with taco seasoning mix, you'll need a pound of wings and some salsa for dipping. Salsa isn't a traditional chicken wing dip, but we have to maintain the theme somehow! If you'll be making this recipe for a lot of people, this recipe can easily be doubled.

Taco Wings

Ingredients:

1 package taco seasoning mix
12 chicken wings (about 1 pound)
Salsa for dipping

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 375F. Lightly grease a 13×9 inch baking pan.

2. Place seasoning mix in a heavy freezer bag.

3. Add 3 chicken wings at a time, shake well to coat. Repeat until all wings are coated.

4. Place wings in prepared pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until juices run clear.
