Other “W” Ideas Kids Will Love

If you're still on the hunt for more ideas your kids will love, check out these other “W” ideas:

  • Watermelon. Watermelon is a sweet, juicy fruit that kids will love in the summer. Cut it up and serve it to them with a fork, or hand them a slice and let them enjoy!
  • Walnut brownies. Regular brownies are great and all, but throwing some walnuts on top of your next batch of brownies can give them a satisfying crunch. It's also a great way to get your kids to eat some nuts, since the sweetness of the chocolate will help balance the taste of the walnuts.
  • Waffles. What kid doesn't love waffles? Grab the waffle iron this weekend and get cooking. Throw in some chocolate chips, or just make plain ones. Put whipped cream and ice cream on top for a special treat.
  • Honey chicken wrap. If you want or need your kids to have a healthy lunch, then a honey chicken wrap might be a good idea. You can sneak some vegetables in without your kids throwing too much of a fuss, since the sweetness of the honey will help mask some of that bitterness. Chicken is a favorite of many children. This wrap makes for a great lunch!
  • Waffle fries. Crinkle fries are great and all, but they get boring after a while. Waffle fries are a great way to change things up without having to switch to a different food. They're fun to dip. Next time you have a cookout, try some waffle fries.
  • White rice. It might be a little plain, but there's no beating white rice when it comes to a side dish. There are a lot of ways you can add some flair to white rice. Try pouring some sauce over top, or mix in some egg and chicken. Whatever you decide, this is a great addition to any meal for your kids.
  • Wafers. Wafers are a great dessert for your kids' school lunches. They're lightweight, tasty, and come in a variety of flavors. Try chocolate if you're unsure of what your kids will like, or take them to the store with you and have them pick. If you're feeling ambitious, try making your own wafers and see how it turns out!
