Get Rid of Stretch Marks During Pregnancy

One of the major causes of stretch marks is pregnancy. The skin has only so much elasticity before it becomes damaged, so when the baby grows and stretches the mother’s belly too far, the stretch marks appear. However, they don’t have to stay there.


The following are tips for avoiding stretch marks during pregnancy:

Cocoa Butter refills dry skin with moisture. There are a lot of different amounts and superiority of the different cocoa butter creams in stores. Choose one product and try it. Follow the product directions or smooth on your tummy once a day, covering it completely. This is particularly important when you are at the second and third trimesters of your pregnancy. It is important to gain weight during pregnancy to nourish your baby, but how fast you gain it is vital to avoiding stretch marks. Slow and stable weight gain of 1 to 2 pounds a week is safest for you and your baby in the second trimester. You should gain weight more slowly in the last trimester. When you gain weight too rapidly, the skin isn’t able to stretch as expected. Stretch marks happen when the skin is drawn too tight, too quickly. It helps construct and mend your skin from the inside out.
