Broccoli Noodles Supreme Recipe

Creamy noodles are always a hit with my family. This recipe is especially great because it’s a vegetarian main dish. Whether you want to have a Meatless Monday every week or one of your family members is trying to eat less meat, this is a great choice.

Broccoli is a popular vegetable choice with my kids. But even if your kids aren’t big vegetable fans, this is still an easy way to sneak some more veggies into their diets. Because if there’s one food that’s almost universally popular with kids, it’s creamy noodles.

Warm, creamy noodles are comfort food for me. Even though I’m often trying to watch my carb intake, I can’t resist the homey and comforting heartiness of creamy noodles. The even better thing about this recipe is that it’s quick and easy to prepare.

With just five or six ingredients, this is the main dish that will help you get dinner on the table in a hurry. I’m always looking for easy shortcut meals that will save me time in the kitchen. This recipe comes together in just 20 minutes or so. If you want to make it even more quickly, you can prepare the sauce while the noodles are boiling.

From stove to table in 20 minutes, this is a home-cooked meal that’s faster than going through a fast-food drive-thru and bringing it back home. You can be proud of serving your family with a warm meal that you can eat together.

Supreme Noodles

Noodles don’t have to be fancy to be enjoyable. We love all varieties of noodles in my family, from simple spaghetti with tomato sauce to rotini tossed with olive oil and pepper. But sometimes we want something that’s a little more complex.

These supreme noodles add a little something extra to make your noodles more special. Broccoli and a creamy sauce take plain noodles and make them truly supreme. It’s an easy meal that doesn’t trade taste for a lot of time spent in the kitchen.

Meals that don’t require a lot of cooking time are always among my favorites to make. While sometimes I love spending the time to make fancier meals, those days tend to be the exception. Most days, I just want to get dinner on the table in a hurry. We’re not the fanciest family so it’s
just my goal to make sure we have a nourishing, affordable meal together.

Because these noodles use the short cuts of canned soup and frozen broccoli, you can make the recipe even better by adding a couple of extra veggies. Consider adding julienned carrots or spinach to make something similar to a pasta primavera.

Broccoli Noodles

My kids are happy with just plain buttered noodles and would probably eat them every day if I let them. But I want them to have a little more nutrition than just pasta and butter. These broccoli noodles are hearty and offer the added nutritional benefits of broccoli.

If your kids don’t particularly like broccoli, it can help if you choose the smaller broccoli florets. Sometimes these are also called baby broccoli florets and you can find them in the frozen section. Make sure not to get the full-size broccoli, which contains more of the stems, if your kids don’t usually love broccoli. The baby florets just include small pieces of the more tender parts of the broccoli.

If you don’t want this to be a completely vegetarian meal, it also works well with the addition of some meat. A bit of cubed chicken breast or ham complements the flavors of these broccoli noodles very well. Even better, adding some chicken or ham won’t take a lot of extra time, especially if you buy pre-cooked versions at the store.

With just a few ingredients, this meal is easy to prepare and just as easy to clean up afterward. You can get to the important part of your day, which is spending time with your family around the dinner table. A lot of studies talk about how valuable it is for your kids to have a family dinner together.

From improving your children’s behavior to helping them do better in school, family dinner has a lot of benefits. If you and your family love pasta like my family and I do, these broccoli noodles supreme deserve a place in your meal list. Make them once and I’m sure you’ll want to make them again and again.
