You’re Going to Love This Classic White Pizza with Pesto Recipe

There are so many different types of pizza out there. Some of them are absolutely whacky, including toppings that you never though to put on pizza. Some recipes challenge what the definition of a pizza really is. Others turn pizza into a breakfast or dessert item.

This recipe doesn't do anything too extraordinary. It keeps itself classic, which is never a bad thing. It's great to experiment, but sometimes you just want something familiar. That being said, don't mistake this recipe for boring!

You can use either fresh or frozen pizza dough for this recipe, depending on your preference. Make sure to thaw it according to package directions if necessary. Of course, you can always make your own pizza dough, but buying store-bought will save you a lot of time.

For the cheese, we'll be using a combination of ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan. These cheeses are what give this pizza the “white” designation. Pesto will add extra flavor, ensuring this is a pizza recipe your family wants to make for years to come.
