Ingredients

  • 23 pound pork shoulder roast
  • 1 1/2 cups of apple cider
  • 56 red potatoes, cut in half and scrubbed well
  • 3 carrots, cut in 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 yellow onion, cut in 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Sprinkle roast with salt and pepper.
  2. Add roast and vegetables to slow cooker.
  3. Add cider and bay leaf to slow cooker.
  4. Cook on low for 8 hours. Remove bay leaf before serving.
