This light brown sugar dressing is perfect for salads and veggies.


  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup champagne vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon shallot, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard


  1. Whisk all the ingredients together until well combined, except for the olive oil.
  2. Next, slowly whisk in the olive oil until well-mixed.
  3. Drizzle over grilled vegetables or a fresh green salad.
