Description

Who doesn’t love salty baked potatoes? Salty on the outside and creamy buttery goodness on the inside. These salt-crusted baked potatoes are sure to be a hit for your next grill.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6x scrubbed and dried russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon kosher salt
  • 3 tablespoons oil or butter
  • Your choice of topping, bacon, sour cream, grated cheese or chives
  • Mesquite pellets

Instructions

  1. Set the Traegers temperature to 450℉ with the lid closed for 15 minutes and preheat.
  2. Next, rub the potatoes with oil or butter and season with salt.
  3. Put the potatoes on the grid and bake until soft in the center for about 40 minutes with the lid closed.
  4. Serve hot with your favorite topping and enjoy!
