- 2 cups of chocolate cookie crumbs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 and 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 3 8 oz packages of cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2/3 cup crushed peppermint candy
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Combine chocolate cookie crumbs, sugar, and butter. Then, press into a 9-inch spring form pan.
- Blend sour cream, sugar, eggs, flour, and extracts until smooth.
- Add softened cream cheese and 2 tablespoons of butter. Slowly stir in crushed peppermint candy.
- Pour over the crust and bake on the lowest rack of your oven for 50-60 minutes or until firm.
- Allow to cool and refrigerate overnight. Remove from pan and serve.
- Top with whipped cream and garnish with a candy cane for a decorative and delicious pop, if desired.
