Beware of These States With the Highest Concentration of Hate Groups
While the United States has made significant progress in civil rights over the years, hate groups and related incidents have not disappeared. In some communities, these issues still surface in troubling ways, highlighting the importance of awareness and staying informed.
Across the country, various organizations continue to target individuals based on race, religion, and other identities. To better understand where these groups are most concentrated, data from the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Year in Hate and Extremism 2022 report was analyzed alongside population data from the U.S. Census Bureau. This breakdown offers a closer look at the states where these groups are most active, helping families stay informed and aware.
50. Louisiana
