Classic Toys Baby Boomers Loved That Today’s Kids Don’t Understand

Life of yesteryear seemed to be a simpler time than today. Children didn't have daily, even hourly, schedules of sports, theater, academics, clubs, and more. Kids played outside more. Games of tag and baseball were standard fare. They had to use their imagination to keep themselves entertained. It was a time before technology. There were no video games, iPads, touchscreens, or VR headsets.

When the Boomer generation (born between 1946 and 1964) was growing up, they had a selection of simple toys that encouraged creativity and stretched the imagination. Hours were spent in pure play — an idea that today's generation doesn't get. Explore these classic toys that were wildly popular with Baby Boomer kids.
