Starbucks Drops New Secret Menu Items You Can Order Straight From the App

Starbucks fans are no strangers to the so-called "Secret Menu." What started as a fun way for fans to showcase their favorite custom drinks turned into the official launch of the Starbucks Secret Menu on July 14, 2025.

According to Starbucks, customers can now order some of the popular drink customizations in the Starbucks app, and new drink customizations will regularly be featured there. But that wasn't the only news Starbucks released – there was also a contest to celebrate the launch of the new menu.

The Starbucks Secret Menu Contest ran from July 14-20 and was an opportunity for fans to submit their custom drink creations. Four finalists will each receive $5,000, and one grand prize winner will receive $25,000, which is definitely enough to buy as many Starbucks drinks as they like. These winners will also have their creations temporarily featured in the Starbucks app.

Entries for the contest are now closed, but you can cast your vote for the best drink between August 18 and August 20. Voting will take place on the Starbucks social media channels.

Starbucks stated that additional drink customizations will be added to the rotating in-app menu soon, but the company kicked off the launch of the official Secret Menu by adding four new drink customizations to the app. These creations include a twist on the Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade, an Iced Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso with white chocolate syrup and cold foam, and a black tea-based drink with fruity pearls. Since then, new drink creations have dropped in the app as well.
