Chili Jack Bread Appetizer

Ingredients:

1 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup finely chopped green onion
1 (4 ounce) can diced green chilies or jalapenos
1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, grated
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 loaf French bread (baguette)

Directions:

1. Combine butter, onion, peppers, cheese, mayonnaise, and garlic powder.

2. Slice bread 1/4 inch thick, spread with butter mixture.

3. Broil until cheese bubbles. Serves 10.
