4 cups fresh nectarines, sliced
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 cups day old bread cubes
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1. Preheat oven to 350F.
2. Combine nectarines and brown sugar in a 1 1/2 quart baking dish.
3. In a medium bowl, stir together bread crumbs, melted butter, granulated sugar, cinnamon and vanilla until thoroughly coated.
4. Sprinkle topping evenly over fruit in baking dish.
5. Bake for 25 minutes, until fruit juices are bubbling.
