Try This Wonderful Nectarine Betty Recipe

How many times have you used nectarines in a recipe? Whether the answer is a hundred times or never, this is a great recipe for you. This recipe for Nectarine Betty will either show you or reinforce for you why nectarines are such an underrated choice for baking. Nectarine Betty has a satisfying crunch to it due to the use of day-old bread cubes, crumbed up on top.

The idea here is to use fresh nectarines. Even if you don't live in a state like Florida, fresh nectarines are usually easy to come by. Using canned nectarines just won't give the same great taste! If you have any nectarines left over after making this recipe, they're a great snack to give your kids or a great part of their breakfast.

As another plus, in addition to its great flavor this recipe is easy to make. Some baked goods are delicious, but take a long time or a lot of complex steps to make. Not this one! This recipe can easily be made whenever you have the time, without stress or time-crunching.

If you can, have your kids give you a hand with this recipe. They'll appreciate being included, and any food they make will be more special to them than food they don't help with. It's also a great chance for you to teach them some basic baking skills. Many kids grow up without the skills they need to succeed as adults; with your help, your kids will be light-years ahead of their peers!
