Nowadays, it seems like there’s a kitchen tool for everything. There are numerous tools available, making it challenging to keep track of them all. If you keep things simple in the kitchen, you may have been using the same tools for years. However, there are likely some kitchen tools you’ve seen but you have no idea what they do.

These kitchen tools range from avocado slicers to nutmeg graters. While you may not need these gadgets to cook meals effectively in your kitchen, they can make the cooking process more enjoyable and efficient.

According to YouGov, some kitchen utensils are near-universal. Tools like measuring cups, spatulas, and can openers are present in at least 90% of kitchens in America. However, when you look at tools like chopsticks, zesters, and mandolins, less than 50% of Americans claim to own one. The data showed that 21% of Americans who consider themselves to be great cooks are more likely to own all of the 25 most common kitchen utensils.
