Other Recipes That Use Coca-Cola

Coke is a popular ingredient in many recipes. The distinct, sweet taste of this popular soda adds a unique element to many dishes that you can't get from any other ingredient. After giving this cherry Coke salad a try, consider these other options:

  • Tacos. Yes, you read that right. You can actually use coke in a number of tacos! By adding this soda to the marinade for the meat or fish that you're using in a taco recipe, you'll add a distinct sweetness that everyone will love. This is especially great for creating sweet and spicy tacos!
  • Coca-Cola cake. This is a great dessert to make for your next party, or whenever you need a moist and delicious cake! This chocolate cake incorporates coke into its recipe to add a greater depth to the classic cake flavor we all know and love.
  • Coca-Cola burgers. Similarly to how you can use coke to ramp up the flavor of whatever meat you're using in tacos, throwing some coke into a burger recipe makes for a great meal. Coca-Cola is incorporated into the actual burger mix; if you want, you can brush each burger with the soda for added flavor.
  • Cola barbecued pork. You've probably heard of this one before! Cola barbecued pork involves marinating the pork in a mixture that includes coke. Barbecue sauce is already sweet, but the addition of Coca-Cola into the mix really adds a whole new flavor dimension. This one is a must-try this summer.
  • Coca-Cola wings. If you're in need of a great appetizer, then this is the one for you. This option is especially great if you or your guests are not a big fan of spicy wings. These wings have a flavor that's unique from the usual barbecue or honey.
  • Chili con carne. If you haven't made yourself some chili con carne recently, you really should! You can add coke into the recipe to introduce a whole new flavor profile to this already-amazing dish.
  • Crock pot cola ham. Sometimes, getting out the slow cooker is exactly what you want to do. If you don't have the time or the energy to make an elaborate meal, you can turn to this crock pot cola ham. There's nothing better than coming home after a long day at work to the delicious smells of this recipe cooking.
