This recipe for healthy baked beans involves 3 cans of beans, ketchup, and brown sugar. In a casserole dish mix up beans with ketchup and sugar, and bake at 350º Fahrenheit for 30 minutes until it's bubbling.

4. Mac & Cheese

This Mac and Cheese With Bacon recipe calls for applewood smoked bacon, cooked until crispy. Take the bacon from the pan and add some all-purpose flour, then add in milk, and salt to further thicken it. Add cheese and stir til melted, remove from heat. 6. Onion Rings

These onion rings call for two white onions, thinly sliced. You'll need beer for cooking, salt, baking powder, flour, oil, and an egg. Fry til golden brown, and carefully remove to dry on a paper towel. Serve with ketchup.

7. Cornbread

This healthy cornbread recipe involves cornmeal, flour, white sugar, baking powder, an egg, butter, vegetable oil, and buttermilk. Preheat your oven to 350º Fahrenheit, while you mix together the buttermilk with your egg, and beat til combined. Combine dry ingredients and add the buttermilk batter in slowly. Blend in the butter with a mixer until you have a proper cornbread batter. Bake for 20-25 minutes in a greased baking dish. Cut and serve.

Try these refrigerator dill pickles. For this, you'll need white vinegar, white sugar, sea salt, garlic, dill, and water. Cut cucumber spears from whole cucumbers and mix together sugar, water, vinegar, and sea salt. Bring this to a boil in a saucepan and then allow it to cool. Prepare a container with your cucumber spears, as well as some garlic, and dill. Add the vinegar mixture to the jar and seal tightly. Refrigerate for 3 days or more before trying.

For another crispy side dish, try Corn Fritters. You need 3 eggs, canned corn, salt, vegetable oil, pepper, and all-purpose flour. Separate the egg whites from the yolk and whip the whites until they've thickened. Combine canned corn, seasonings, flour, and egg yolks. Once those are blended, folk in the whipped egg whites. Fold in the beaten egg whites and mix. Now it's time to fry them. Drop spoonfuls into hot vegetable oil and cook til both sides have properly browned. Carefully remove and lay to dry on a paper towel. Serve and enjoy these crispy, sweet corn fritters.
