This is an Amazing American Flag Cookies Recipe

Need a dessert for an Independence Day or Memorial Day picnic? Look no further! Many patriotic desserts come in the form of pies or cakes. We decided to do things a little differently by creating a cookie recipe. These American flag cookies will surely inspire pride in anyone who eats one.

Making cookies from scratch is something a lot of families only do during the holidays. That's a real shame, because cookie baking is something for any time of the year! Turning the oven on during the summer might not be something you want to do, but fortunately this recipe only requires ten to twelve minutes of baking time.

One thing to keep in mind with this recipe is that the cookies need to chill for around an hour prior to baking. If you skip this step, your cookies won't turn out right. Make sure you give yourself enough time to make, chill, and bake these cookies. Making them the day of your picnic probably isn't the best idea!

We hope you enjoy this recipe. If you do, be sure to bookmark it so you can come back to it whenever you need a great recipe for dessert. We also have plenty of other dessert recipes, for whenever you need something that isn't quite so patriotic.
