Cracker Barrel Goes Back to "Old Timer" Logo Amid Backlash About the Changes

Cracker Barrel has come under fire lately for some of the changes at the Southern establishment, including the decision to modernize the restaurant's decor. More recently, Cracker Barrel revealed its new logo, which removed the barrel and includes only text.

Many customers, especially those on social media, felt strongly about the changes. Despite Cracker Barrel assuring customers that its story and values haven't changed, many feel that all the changes signify the chain is leaving its roots entirely.

Even President Donald Trump responded to the new logo, suggesting that Cracker Barrel go back to the old one and admit they were wrong based on the customer response. On August 26, Cracker Barrel responded once again to the customer complaints, stating in a post on X that the new logo would be removed. This was after the restaurant chain released a promise to its customers on August 25, 2025

Many of the changes at Cracker Barrel are part of the "All the More" campaign, which highlights some of the new menu items, remodels, and refreshed branding that customers can expect from Cracker Barrel. Whether you're a long-time fan of Cracker Barrel or you're trying out the Southern restaurant for the first time, we'll walk you through some of the changes happening at Cracker Barrel restaurants.

This post was updated on August 27, 2025, to include new information about Cracker Barrel's logo and other changes.
