You’ll Love This Patriotic Jell-O Mold Recipe

Jell-O is a popular dessert that has been around for many years. Back in the 1960s and 1970s, it was very popular to make Jell-O molds for dessert. Jell-O molds typically contain fruit, but they can also contain vegetables or other ingredients.

This patriotic Jell-O mold incorporates the colors of the American flag for a perfect 4th of July dessert. Strawberry, lemon, and black raspberry Jell-O are the flavors we selected, but you can use whatever flavors you want as long as the colors stay consistent.

For fruit, this mold contains peaches, pineapple, and blueberries. There are certainly a lot of flavors going on in this dish! Even though there are a lot of steps to this recipe, it really is quite easy. Plus, you can serve up to 12 people with this recipe, without having to double it. That should be plenty for most 4th of July gatherings.

Keep in mind that Jell-O is not suitable for vegetarians! That's a fact that's easy to forget, since there isn't any visible meat within Jell-O. Jell-O is made from gelatin, which is itself derived from animal products. If any vegetarians are attending your function, make sure to get vegan Jell-O instead. This type of Jell-O is made from ingredients that are vegetarian-friendly.
