You’ll Love This Apple Pie Glazed Pork Roast Recipe

Nothing says fall quite like apple pie. If you want to bring the flavors of apple pie into your home but don't want to make a whole pie, this pork roast is a great way to do it. Ingredients like granny smith apples and apple juice help bring your roast to new and tasty heights.

Some of the spices used in this recipe are similar to those used in apple pie. In particular, cinnamon and nutmeg are commonly used. You won't need too many other ingredients for this roast, making it an easy one to prepare for.

You'll want to brown this roast under your broiler to remove any excess fat. This shouldn't take too long. Then, you'll begin arranging the ingredients in the crock pot. Make sure to follow the steps we've written out when it comes to arranging the ingredients!

This roast will cook on low for eight to ten hours. That may seem like a long time, but remember that meat needs to be cooked low and slow to reach optimal tenderness. Cooking a pork roast too quickly will cause it to become tough. It may even cook unevenly, which is even less desirable.
