Your Family Will Love This Taco Soup Recipe

Taco soup is an excellent way to change up taco night! This particular recipe uses turkey meat, for less calories and fat. Taco seasoning mix and ranch seasoning mix are used to add lots of flavor. If using ranch seasoning in a taco recipe is new to you, you may very well never go back to your old seasoning combo after trying it!

Keep in mind that you'll need to cook the turkey before putting it in the slow cooker. This will take less than ten minutes, so it doesn't add much on to the total prep time. Once all of the ingredients are added to the slow cooker, it will need to cook on low for four to five hours.

This is a great recipe to throw in the slow cooker on a weekend, when you want to enjoy time with family instead of spending time in the kitchen. While this soup cooks, relax and have fun with your kids. You won't have forever to make memories with them, so take advantage of every opportunity you have!

For other great slow cooker soup recipes, take a look at our other offerings. Soup is an important part of fall and winter, so having some good recipes is a great idea. Soup doesn't need to have a lot of effort put into it to be good, as we hope this recipe proves!
