Alfredo sauce consists of three very basic ingredients: parmesan cheese, heavy cream, and one stick of butter. You can use the microwave to semi-melt the butter, and then use a mixer to blend in the cream and cheese until it resembles soft cottage cheese.

Once tossed with hot pasta, the butter will continue to melt and coat every bite with this sauce's savory flavor.
