Other Great Dessert Ideas

After making these fun and delicious monster cookies, try out some of these other dessert ideas:

  • Orange cake. Chocolate, vanilla, and red velvet are very popular flavors, leaving orange cake behind to get forgotten about. Why not give it the love it deserves? Make yourself an orange cake, and it might just become your next favorite cake flavor!
  • Peanut butter cookies. Peanut butter cookies are so easy to make! They have very few ingredients, and only take a small amount of time to make. Make sure you use fork twines to make the classic print on the top before throwing them in the oven!
  • Fudge. Have you ever tried making your own fudge? If not, now is the time to try! There are a lot of different flavors to choose from out there, but if this is your first time making fudge we recommend keeping it simple and going with chocolate.
  • Cupcakes. Sometimes a regular cake is just too much work. Why not give cupcakes a go? They're great for kids, since their small hands can easily hold a cupcake. Make whatever flavor you'd like, frost, and enjoy!
  • Chocolate mousse. Want a fancier dessert? Chocolate mousse is the way to go! This dessert is a great choice for summer days, since it's consumed cold. Serve this up as a way to change up your menu!
  • Cream pie. Cream pies are great for summer, since they're eaten cold. There are lots of great flavors, but chocolate and peanut butter are classics that can't be beat. Key Lime and Lemon Meringue are great too, although the latter may be a bit difficult to make. You might appreciate the challenge, though!
