Try This Quick and Easy Crusted Baked Chicken Recipe

Baked chicken makes for a great weeknight meal. Finding healthy options that taste great and don't take forever to make is often a challenge for parents. The idea of getting their kids to eat a healthy meal without complaining leaves many parents choosing to go to the drive-thru instead.

Enter this baked chicken recipe. It's packed with protein, giving it a great health benefit for your family. Protein is necessary for muscle growth and maintenance; it can also help with weight loss. This recipe tastes amazing, meaning that you won't have to worry about any complaints from your children.

In addition, this chicken recipe is quick and easy to make. It takes 30-35 minutes to bake, meaning you can have dinner on the table in less than an hour. When you're going to have a busy night or you're simply exhausted from the day, this recipe can be a true blessing.

We recommend serving this chicken recipe with buttered noodles that have been tossed with broccoli. Serving broccoli mixed in with noodles is a good way to get your kids to be less picky about eating their veggies. You can throw in some cheese to help mask the taste of the broccoli, if you really want to make it easy on yourself.

1/2 cup dry Italian bread crumbs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 Tablespoon dried parsley
2 teaspoons dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 Tablespoons butter, melted
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
