Italian Garlic Basil and Herbs Pork Chops Recipe

Italian Garlic Basil and Herbs Pork Chops

Ingredients:

1 Tablespoon salt-free garlic seasoning blend
2 teaspoons dried basil
2 teaspoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons minced fresh parsley
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
4 bone-in pork loin chop (6 ounces each)
1 teaspoon olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 Tablespoon lemon juice

Directions:

1. In a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Mix well. Rub over both sides of pork chops.

2. In a large nonstick frying pan, heat oil and garlic over medium-high heat.

3. Add pork chops. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side or until juices run clear.

4. Remove from the heat; drizzle with lemon juice. Cover and let stand for 2 minutes before serving. Serve with Italian-Inspired Couscous (see recipe below).

Italian-Inspired Couscous

Ingredients:

1 cup uncooked couscous
1 cup roughly chopped baby spinach
1 medium tomato diced
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:

1. Cook couscous according to package directions.

2. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix together remaining ingredients.

3. When couscous finishes cooking, add to bowl and cover for 5 minutes to wilt spinach.

4. Mix well and serve.
