You Need to Try This Great Smothered Chicken with Red Potatoes Recipe

Smothered chicken is one of the best ways to have chicken. Chicken and potatoes is a classic combination that families have enjoyed for decades. With this recipe, you can bring a delightful dinner to your table for your hungry family to enjoy.

In terms of ingredients, we keep it simple here. In addition to the chicken, you'll need an onion, fresh mushrooms, garlic, cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, French Onion soup, and red potatoes. Nothing out of the ordinary here!

Before cooking this recipe, you'll want to thickly slice the potatoes. They'll get nice and soft during cooking, while the chicken will get quite tender. This recipe will need to cook in a slow cooker for around four and a half hours.

For the first two hours, you'll need to cook this recipe on high. For the remaining two and a half hours, you'll need to cook it on low. If the potatoes aren't tender by the end of the four and a half hours, cook the dish for a little longer until they're tender.
