Alfredo Sauce consists of 3 very basic ingredients: Parmesan cheese, heavy cream and 1 stick of butter. You can use the microwave to semi-melt the butter and then use the mixer to blend in the cream and cheese until it resembles soft cottage cheese.
Once tossed with hot pasta, the butter will continue to melt and coat every bite with its savory flavor.
1 cup Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
pepper to taste
1/2 cup butter
1. Grate cheese. Cut butter into quarters.
2. In glass serving bowl, combine cheese, butter and cream.
3. Cook at MEDIUM 3 - 4 minutes or until butter melts. Stir well.
