Sure to become your kids’ favorite, this spaghetti pie recipe combines the ease of a spaghetti dinner with the convenience of a casserole meal.
Its a basic spaghetti with lots of cheese (American and Parmesan) bound together with beaten eggs and then baked. After, it is cut and served with warmed-up spaghetti sauce. Add cooked chopped chicken or pepperoni, perhaps broccoli before baking, or using Alfredo sauce instead for variety.
8 oz .spaghetti
14 oz. shredded American cheese
2 oz. grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
4 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup butter, melted
2 cups spaghetti sauce
1. Cook spaghetti until almost tender; drain.
2. Combine spaghetti with both cheeses, oregano, salt, pepper, eggs and butter; mix well.
3. Butter pan. Pour mixture into pan.
4. Bake at 350 degrees F until golden and firm 20 to 25 minutes. Cut into squares and serve with hot spaghetti sauce.
