If you like to put mushrooms on top of your steak then this is the recipe for you. The seasoning and texture of these sautéed mushrooms will add superb flavor to any cut of steak, turning a special meal into an exquisite experience.
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup dry white wine
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1. Saute onion in butter until tender.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients.
3. Cook, uncovered, over low heat 30 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Serves 4.
