Zesty Spiced Shrimp
1¼ cups chicken broth
10 medium pitted black olives, finely chopped
¾ teaspoon red pepper flakes
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
2 pounds uncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 pound gemelli pasta (twisted pasta, we used a popular blue box brand)
1. Cook gemelli according to package directions.
2. While pasta is cooking, combine all ingredients except the shrimp and pasta in a large nonstick frying pan.
3. Bring to a boil; cook until mixture is reduced by half.
4. Add shrimp. Simmer, uncovered, for 3 to 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink, stirring occasionally.
5. Serve over cooked pasta.
