A BBQ favorite, this baked beans recipe is always a welcome addition. Using a can of beans as a base and then adding a few ingredients take the canned beans from o.k. to yummy.
The distinctive sharp taste of the mustard, ranging from sweet to spicy, contrasts nicely with the sweetness of the brown sugar. Brown sugar is sucrose sugar that contains molasses, the dark having a higher content than the light, adding to its flavor.

1 large can pork and beans
1 tsp or more mustard
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup catsup
1/2 pound bacon
1. Grease large baking pan.
2. Mix all ingredients except bacon, pour into baking pan.
3. Place strips of bacon on top.
4. Cook for 45 minutes or 1 hour at 350F.
