Crock Pot Chili
CROCK POT CHILI #1
Ingredients:
2 lbs. ground beef
1 large onion
1 large green pepper
1 large jalapeno pepper
Chili powder to taste
Garlic salt to taste
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Sugar to taste
2 cans crushed tomatoes
1 can tomato puree
1 can kidney beans
2 cans chili hot beans
Directions:
1. Brown beef. Saute chopped onion and green pepper in grease. Mix beef, onion and green pepper. Add spices; let stand 1 hour.
2. Add tomatoes, tomato puree, beans; cook in crock pot for 8-10 hours.
CROCK POT CHILI #2
Ingredients:
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 (16 oz.) cans dark red kidney beans, undrained
1 lb. hamburger meat
3 or 4 Tablespoons chili powder
Directions:
1. Cook the hamburger meat and drain well.
2. Mix all ingredients together in crock pot.
3. Cook on high for at least 1 to 2 hours. Stir occasionally.
CROCK POT CHILI #3
Ingredients:
1 lb. pork, cubed
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
small can diced jalapenos
small can diced green chilies
2 to 4 garlic cloves, finely diced
Salt to taste
2 Tablespoons flour
1 cup water
2 Tablespoons oil
Directions:
1. Brown pork in oil. Add flour. Stir until pork is coated and flour is brown.
2. Put the pork and all remaining ingredients in the crock pot and simmer until pork is soft - 3 to 4 hours on high or 6 to 7 hours on low.
CROCK POT CHILI #4
Ingredients:
2 lb. hamburger or deerburger
2 cans Bush's chili hot beans
2 medium green peppers, chopped
2 medium onions, chopped
1 pkg. Williams chili seasoning
1 large can stewed tomatoes
Directions:
1. Brown meat, onions and green peppers. Add meat in and mix all remaining ingredients into crock pot.
2. Stir well and cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours. Salt and pepper to taste.
EASY CROCK POT CHILI
Ingredients:
4 cans lite kidney beans
2 lbs. hamburger
4 cans tomato soup
2 cans stewed tomatoes
2 medium onions
2 Tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
2 or 3 bay leaves
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Directions:
1. Brown hamburger with chopped onions; drain and mix with all other ingredients in large crock pot.
2. Cook for 8 hours on low heat.
CROCK POT CHILI CON QUESO
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons butter
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can jalapeno peppers, chopped
1 15 1/2 oz. tomatoes, chopped, undrained
1 jar pimiento, chopped, drained
3/4 cup cheddar cheese, grated
salt and pepper, to taste
Directions:
1. Saute onion in butter in medium saucepan. Combine next 3 ingredients with onion.
2. Transfer to crockpot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
3. Add cheese, mixing thoroughly until melted.
