If there are two ingredients everyone loves, it's chicken and cheese.

Chicken is a healthy, lean protein that goes with just about anything. And cheese? Well, who can resist the ooey-gooey goodness? Not to mention, it’s a great source of dairy.

There are many ways you can enjoy a cheese-and-chicken combination, but we feel this recipe is one most people will find especially delicious.

Chicken Parmesan: This may be the first recipe that comes to mind when you think of chicken and cheese combinations. Chicken with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and your assortment of Italian seasonings served over a bed of spaghetti makes for an amazing dinner.

Chicken Breasts Stuffed with Perfection: And when we say perfection, we mean a combination of feta, spinach, mushrooms, and garlic. That’s right, cheese doesn’t always have to be on top of the chicken, it can be inside it as well. And we can’t think of many better ways to enjoy this dish of Mediterranean-style goodness.

Salsa Chicken: Those who like their chicken with a kick will find this variation delectable. The chicken is seasoned with taco seasoning and then covered in salsa and, of course, cheese (in this case cheddar, but you can vary according to your preferences). This type of chicken makes the perfect complement for Spanish rice.

Chicken Cordon Bleu: Cordon Bleu is a French term that translates to “the blue ribbon”,. We can’t think of any better way to describe this meal, which consists of chicken that is breaded, sautéed, and stuffed with ham and Swiss cheese. The recipe we found adds paprika and a creamy white wine sauce.

Health Benefits of Chicken

When making a dinner for your family, it's important to know what you're giving them. You've probably heard a lot about how chicken is healthy for you, but why? What about chicken makes it a good choice for your family?

For starters, as we've already mentioned, chicken is packed with protein. It doesn't come with a high amount of calories, making it a great choice for anyone watching their weight. Despite its lower calorie count, it still manages to be filling. Some studies suggest that foods that are high in protein are able to keep us fuller for longer.

Chicken also has plenty of great nutrients in it. Some of the nutrients it includes are selenium, phosphorous, and B vitamins. When you're trying to keep your family healthy, it's good to find foods that have all kinds of different nutrients in them. Chicken will help keep each of your family members healthy and strong.

This recipe may not be as low in calories as a chicken breast on its own, but it certainly doesn't negate all of chicken's many health benefits. You'll still get a great dose of vitamins and minerals from each serving, along with plenty of protein. Plus, it tastes great!

It’s true that there are many chicken and cheese recipes out there, but we think this is one of the tastiest of the bunch; not to mention, it’s relatively easy to make.

The meal you get is one that is moist, hearty, and delicious. The dish is relatively versatile, and it can be served with your choice of sides, including rice, veggies, potatoes, or a nice salad.
