Menopause Relief – Anxiety

When a woman enters menopause, stress is likely to be a factor she will have to face. There are a number of different ways in which a woman can help to relieve the stress she feels as she starts to suffer from symptoms of menopause. Below are some natural stress relief ideas.

1. Homeopathy

Today there are a wide variety of different types of homeopathic treatments and remedies which can help to relief the stress a woman feels during menopause. Such remedies include sepia and nux vomica.

2. Herbs

There are a variety of different herbs that a woman can readily obtain from any good health food store, which she can then use to treat the symptoms of stress in relation to this condition.

One such herb is Ginseng, which is well know for helping to reduce stress levels, but it also contains essential fatty acids that can help to reduce the number of hot flushes a woman suffers from during menopause. As well as Ginseng, Valerian has been found to be effective in not only treating stress but also irritability as well.

3. Aromatherapy

Today if you are looking for ways to help relieve the stress you are feeling because of the onset of menopause then there are certain essential oils which you may want to consider using. Geranium, Roman Chamomile and Clary Sage have all been found to be effective in helping to relax as well as calm the nerves. A massage carried out by a qualified masseuse using the aromatherapy essential oils suggested above can help to relieve stress.

4. Nutritional Supplements

Often when a woman enters menopause they will start to make changes to their lifestyle and their dietary habits. One thing that they should be thinking of when changing their dietary habits is to include supplements into. Certainly there are a number of nutritional supplements now available which can help to relieve stress during menopause. Two supplements which that help are both Vitamin B and Magnesium.

Above we have provided a number of ways in which you can relief stress levels during the menopause but there are other ideas which you may want to consider also. Other ideas for relieving stress during menopause include exercise and also the use of acupressure or acupuncture to treat it.
